British actor Marcos James—recognised for his role as White Rat in Season 5 of ‘Game of Thrones’—returns to screens in the high-tension thriller ‘Cabin Pressure’, directed by Peter Sullivan. Airing on LMN on 5 September at 8/7c, with a repeat on 6 September, the film will also be available on Amazon from 6 September. James plays Kody, one of the lead villains in a story that unfolds both on land and in the air, marking one of his most physically demanding roles to date.
Marcos, what was it like working on the upcoming TV film ‘Cabin Pressure’?
“Working on ‘Cabin Pressure’ was electrifying. Portraying Kody—one of the most menacing and intensely brooding characters I’ve played—pushed me physically like never before. As a primary antagonist, it was one of the most demanding films I’ve done, and I relished every moment.”

Without giving away spoilers, what can you tell us about the story and what makes it a must-watch?
“The script had me hooked from the moment I read it—I couldn’t put it down. The film unfolds both on the ground and in the air, centring on Nora, a flight attendant forced to follow certain directives or face consequences. On land, my character is an immediate, intimidating threat with several intense fight scenes. The drama escalates between aircraft and ground, building relentlessly until the very end.”
Who did you work with on this project?
“I worked closely with fight director Cole McKay—renowned for work on ‘Transformers’ and ‘Cloverfield’. Acting opposite Christopher Sky, whose athleticism really raised the bar, allowed Cole to push the fight sequences even further. It was also a pleasure working with director Peter Sullivan and reconnecting with Hybrid, who’ve trusted me with leading roles in multiple productions. The project also features Jon Briddell from ‘Doom Patrol’, alongside a terrific ensemble.”

What have been some of your best projects to date?
“‘Game of Thrones’ stands out—I played White Rat in Season 5. On stage, I starred as Arjuna in ‘The Mahabharata’ at Sadler’s Wells in London. I’ve also played William French in ‘Keeping Up with the Joneses’, and I was honoured to be part of Disney’s theatrical production of ‘The Lion King’. I’m grateful for all these roles—and the consistency of my work.”
Do you have any future projects on the horizon?
“Yes—straight after ‘Cabin Pressure’, I’ll be on screen again as a villain in an exciting television series available on Netflix, Paramount+ and other platforms. Filming gave me a chance to tap into a more East Coast vibe, which was energising.”
