Netflix in December is bringing us fresh content and since we don’t have time or space to list it all, here’s what’s the best of what’s coming:

Dark

New, German TV series everyone is talking about. It’s a new Stranger Things apparently. First season, 10 episodes. Check it out.

Kick-ass (2009)

Comic book satire. Haven’t seen it yet? Now is your chance.

Meet Joe Black (1998)

Romantic fantasy film, featuring Brad Pitt as the Death himself in the shape of a young man, who asks a media mogul to teach him about life on Earth, and in the process, he falls in love with his daughter. Young Brad Pitt? Why not…

Doctor Who: season 9

Is introduction really necessary?

The Crown

Season 2 coming in December.

Back to the Future 1-3 (1985, 1989, 1990)

The whole cup of tea. Time travelling Doc and Marty, whether you watch it for the first time or twentieth, equally entertaining. If you’re into such movies. But it’s a good comedy.

Love Actually (2003)

The one that’s Christmas themed but mostly about love. Where a guy falls in love with a woman and another is cheating on her and the best man is in love with the bride and it’s all confusing, but in fact all, love, actually . And it’s funny too. And it stars Hugh Grant and Colin Firth and Keira Knightly.

Bridge of Spies (2015).

Steven Spielberg, starring Tom Hanks. You need more?

Once Upon a Time: Season 7

Without the main hero, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) as the saviour, this season surely is different, but for Oncers, worth the chance. As long there’s Hook, we’re hooked.

The Avengers (2012)

Marvel. Superheroes in Marvel universe coming together for the first time to stop Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor’s (Chris Hemisworth) brother, from enslaving people on Earth. Lot’s of action, lots of fun.

Cold, dark nights just became bearable, under a blanket, with a cup of tea, chips, remote control in your hands and Netflix on your screen.

Enjoy and Happy Holidays!
